SMHC has just received word that the Joyce Foundation in Chicago will provide a grant for SMHC to identify the state policy implications of local initiatives that constitute strategic management of human capital in school districts. Dr. Margaret Goertz, a co-director of CPRE at the University of Pennsylvania, will lead this analytic effort.
